Event Policy
Proposals for events are approved by the group during general meetings (Sundays at 5 p.m.), on a case-by case basis with emphasis on the purpose and inclusiveness of the event. Priority is given to events that further the social goals of the space (opposition to all forms of prejudice, bigotry and oppression), as well as those that are both accessible and welcoming to a wide range of people. To propose an event, fill out the events form and bring it to a Sunday meeting, or submit it to a 123 volunteer in order to have them present it at the meeting. It is best to attend the meeting where your event will be discussed in order to answer any questions that may arise.
123 Benefit Hosted by Actor Ephraim Benton
There are a lot of causes out there that the government or private organizations fund greatly, but there are plenty more that anyone rarely pays attention to. For the past 14 years I've been blessed greatly in my entertainment career and this is my way of giving back to the youth and my community. I hope you come out to support a neglected cause and make it one of your new leafs for the new year... Youth Empowerment!
