Event Policy
Proposals for events are approved by the group during general meetings (Sundays at 5 p.m.), on a case-by case basis with emphasis on the purpose and inclusiveness of the event. Priority is given to events that further the social goals of the space (opposition to all forms of prejudice, bigotry and oppression), as well as those that are both accessible and welcoming to a wide range of people. To propose an event, fill out the events form and bring it to a Sunday meeting, or submit it to a 123 volunteer in order to have them present it at the meeting. It is best to attend the meeting where your event will be discussed in order to answer any questions that may arise.
Events
Bring a laptop with wireless if you have one, and please RSVP so we can have an idea of how many folks and laptops to expect!
We'll start out with the basics and have an intermission where folks are welcome to leave before we do advanced administration.

Every other Tuesday, 7pm at 1-2-3, write to political prisoners and learn about their movements. Come enjoy a home-cooked dinner-- we'll supply the writing materials. The only thing you need to bring is you, your friends + comrades! brought to you by NYC Anarchist Black Cross.
We provide homework help, tutoring, arts and crafts, and snacks. We mostly serve the younger crowd, but hopefully soon we should be able to accommodate junior high / high school student's needs as well. Let us know if you'd like to lend a hand.

Screenprinting is fun, affordable, and anyone can learn how to do it! It allows you to print multiple copies of your design in one or more colors. This hands-on workshop will teach you how to print your original designs onto posters, t-shirts, CD covers, stickers, and more. Let us introduce you to this technique so that you can use the 123 Printshop for your own projects.
