Event Policy

Proposals for events are approved by the group during general meetings (Sundays at 5 p.m.), on a case-by case basis with emphasis on the purpose and inclusiveness of the event. Priority is given to events that further the social goals of the space (opposition to all forms of prejudice, bigotry and oppression), as well as those that are both accessible and welcoming to a wide range of people. To propose an event, fill out the events form and bring it to a Sunday meeting, or submit it to a 123 volunteer in order to have them present it at the meeting. It is best to attend the meeting where your event will be discussed in order to answer any questions that may arise.

Community Garden Workshop

Wed, August 27th, 2008 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm

Every Wednesday from 3-6pm, a crew of volunteers helps neighborhood youth maintain their own garden plots. If you're a young person, come by to sign up! If you're an adult, come by to volunteer, especially if you're a parent from the neighborhood!
Materials and tools will be provided, but if you have your own, bring them by.
