idea for dialogue between community spaces/social centers

So today at the space I met a woman named Leah who is involved with a space called the Anchor Archive -- http://anchor.revolt.org/index.html -- in Halifax, which has a lot in common with 123. We talked a bunch and i had an idea i wanted to pitch -- it doesn;t have to happen right away but i think i would be cool to start thinking about. I would like to work with people on creating a website where people involved in community spaces all over the country and the world could share experiences and learn from each other. I am really interested in learning about how people run collective spaces all over, but it isn't really practical to travel everywhere to meet them, like El Kilombo was doing when they came to 123. (Although perhaps after a while of communicating online, people would be excited enough to organize a conference or maybe an Other Campaign-style listening tour.) Through the website, spaces could post blogs and updates and discuss all types of issues such as outreach and community building, different programs, decision-making and collective structures, gentrification, etc, etc. I'm confident Nick would be able to build this kind of website and i would be into working on the less technical aspects of it. I think it would be a great way to learn and support each other and be reminded of the fact that things like 123 are part of a much bigger movement. Thoughts?
