A possible event?
Hey all,
A person from the group Chair Advocates wanted to rent the space for a fundraiser that they're planning for february. The group describes themselves as
"an established Youth Venture which upholds disability rights and help people with disabilities to lead independent lives. We will assist people with disabilities get funding for adaptive equipments like dressing sticks, reachers and other everyday living aids."
I'm including the correspondence(start from the bottom) i've had with the person-I think it sounds good and they seem like a cool group, and it doesn't seem that it will conflict with anything.

"Hi,
The fundraiser is going to be on Friday, February 15 around 12pm. The duration of
the event will be anywhere btween one or two hours. So far, all we really need is a
space to host our event. We are hoping to have a sandwich luncheon where guests make
their own sandwiches. It would be great to have all the tables grouped together and
facing a wall or any type of flat surface because we will be doing a presentation
using projector. I'm currently still searching for a projector equipment for our
presentation. Otherwise, we have everything that we need.
Thanks for your reply! It was extremely difficult to find a available space.

Hey there,
There's definitely a way to rent the space, as long as it's on a day that
there aren't any conflicts with established projects. For a nonprofit,
the fees would be pretty low, with maybe a suggested donation of like $25?
All we would need is a brief description of what your needs for the event
would be, and then one of us can bring it up at our weekly meeting in to
decide on it.
It would be great to host your event, so if you have any other questions,
don't hesitate to ask!
