tweaks

I'm trying to make the site even more user friendly, so I added a new personalized "overview" page so people can keep track of new posts and upcoming events, manage their group subscriptions, add content and even administer the site (if you have the right permissions) from one page. the link is at the top of the page in that user-bar strip i made. hopefully people will see it, but i can't think of anywhere else to put it. i figured if google and yahoo put their personalized-page links up there so could I.

I can add more blocks to it now that it's there, does anyone have any suggestions?

I'm also planning on making real profile pages for everybody. I know I'm at least going to make a new required field called "First name", because a lot of the time i can't tell who somebody is and therefore don't know if I should give them certain permissions.
