Programs

We provide homework help, tutoring, arts and crafts, and snacks. We mostly serve the younger crowd, but hopefully soon we should be able to accommodate junior high / high school student's needs as well. Let us know if you'd like to lend a hand.

Come to the 123 Printshop and learn to print your own original posters, t-shirts, and more! Volunteers will help you out with the entire process. Bring black and white artwork on plain white paper or a transparency, and a screen if you have one. We have a small collection of screens -- you can purchase one from us for $5-$15, depending on the size and whether or not you want to keep the screen for later use. The fee for exposing your artwork on the screen is $3-$5. We also provide affordable screenprinting services, but really encourage doing it yourself. It's a skill you can use forever.

We plan to add more weekly open hours in the near future, and will be holding free screenprinting classes in the upcoming weeks. All ages and skill levels are welcome!

Every other Tuesday, 7pm at 1-2-3, write to political prisoners and learn about their movements. Come enjoy a home-cooked dinner-- we'll supply the writing materials. The only thing you need to bring is you, your friends + comrades! brought to you by NYC Anarchist Black Cross.

The Kalabash Food Co-op meets receives weekly deliveries of fresh, organic produce that is available to members and non-members.

Learn how to turn found bike parts into working bicycles & build your own bike. For more info, call Christian at (917) 582-9010. To get more involved, come to our open meetings at 5pm on Wednesdays (an hour before the bikeshop opens).
